| 2.2 comp bodies, besides the bug?
What other bodies are u guys using. The bug is really sweet as far as comp bodies go(low profile, round, great wheel wells), what other bodies are out there that can provide just as much as the bug body? I have been lookin at the proline crowd pleazer for the crt and it seems to provide the low profile that im looking for but just not as round(seem like it would hang up where the # plate is above the shocks). Any suggestions? |

Here's an HPI body with no number plates: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXD92&P=7 They also have a Dodge and and F-150 body that are similar with no number plates, both for the same price. |

Rockwerks has some bodies that work great, the 90's Toyota is my favorite.

I run a crowd pleazer of some variant. Oddly enough, a few of the GA guys were testing the roll-ability of the body just yesterday at our comp, by tossing my truck down a hill. As I had already found, it works quite well. Both forward/back and side rolls often end up back on the wheels, and with my current truck design I can recover from a side flop nearly 100% of the time, even on flat ground. Pic: -Destroyer |

I am running a crowd pleazer for a jato on one of my trucks. Looks similar to destroyers above me. It is narrow, has a very low profile, and is fairly rounded so it turns over pretty well. Didnt have to cut it up much, and i think it looks great.

I like Pro-line's C6 Vette body also Parma's 69 Camaro but like Griz said " creative hacking " plays a big part (nice job Griz). just hackin' a body don't cut it ,well it might . lol The RX-8 body Kamikaze posted I done the cutting on it also . I also have a bug body. there is just something about runnin' a car body . this body might just be on my next build . and a body I'm lookin' at Last edited by Badd; 05-29-2007 at 12:07 PM. |
