Well with all this talk about tubers and such I thought I would post up the finished rig :-)

By the way Gimbal....Just because there are rumors flying around that I have one of your chassis's, doesn't get you off the hook about making mine I still want one, so keep building

Anyhow here is the latest.

NazT and Bob are holding a night competition this coming weekend so I built up a light bar. I still want to mount up another set elsewhere on the rig but I'm not sure where.

The light buckets that are on there now are from an old crawler buddy. There very rare and are built like no other. That man goes by the name of Ace. Give me chills just typing that.

Onto the pics;

Thanks again Fathead for building this up for me. It's a work of art

On the weight your probably right. It's going to be a light build. I'll have to look into a brushless system

As far as a heat source I would use a Smith Mini Torch. They make one for about $130.00 that will take MAP, Oxy-Cet or Oxy-Prop. It's really small and does a wiz bang job.

If you tight on money then at HomeDepot they have a MAP gas self lighting system for like $35.00. That works really well

Thanks guys. I will probably get the self starter cheapy one. It should do what I want. I almost bought one just a few minutes ago. I saw one that was mapp gas in a yellow canister for 38.99. But then I saw another with oxygen and propane that caught my eye. It had like a tube nozzle. I will see if I can find some pictures online.
Back on topic. That thing is really nice. It looks so much smaller with the wheels on it. It would looke scale with a shorter wheelbase because the real ones look like the wheels might touch at full lock lol. Great job 10/10 guys.
