Default A tuber for Kae-Two

At our last local UTRCRC comp on Sunday, Kae-Two asked if i would build another tuber and i told that it would all depend on who it was for. So he said for him which blew me away bacause this guy can get any chassis he wants for a comp rig. So here it is 6 hours of labor and $20 in supplies. This is going to be my last tuber build because I just dont enjoy building them anymore unless its for me on to the picks

its kind of a copy from one he found on the web but with my own little twist... any comments are welcomed and thanks for looking

Default the skid

A Delrin skid plate mates right up to the bottom rails of the tuber for easy transmission access and the bottom links mount up with the delin also . The top links mount to the bigger pieces of tube in the middle of the chassis and the shocks mount to the two pieces at each end of the tuber. any ?'s I'd love to answer them 4 you

Not bad, is the bottom on the driver's side tweaked a bit? You might have to watch your link geometry, but it should be close enough for gov't work.

I fixed the tweek in the chassis rails before he came to pick it up. Kae-two said he will post some picks when he gets it all put together

I just picked this up today and from the images it does look tweaked from side to side but in person it's spot on. I couldn't be more pleased with the work. Before I got there Fathead had noticed that it was just a tad off on the lower mount, but he had it all dialed in by the time I showed up. I have to say that with no jig and the little amount of time he took to build it, it really is incredible.

Now I have to get to building

Fathead, I really appreciate you throwing this together for me. My wife on the other hand hates you

What do you do though

Much agreed. It does look like everything is about where you'd want it. It should do well.

I'll get some up pretty soon. I had a few changes that I needed to get worked out for the skid and tranny so Fathead come by and picked it up today for a little tuning. I'm not talking about the kind of tuning that I did on Pinchflat the other day either. It's a bit more subtle

I'll have to pics up soon.
