Talking Da Blue'z Reborn BMVii - Lil Red Wagen

The story:

I bought this a month or so ago from Brand0 only to discover it was actually built by Dez! Had I known, I would have never bought it... I keed, I keed...

Anyway, the truck was set up as follows:

BMVii chassis
Tower Pro 995 servo
Novak XRS Speedo
Integy 55t Lathe
TQ3
Moabs on RPMs w/ Faux Beadlocks & Airsoft

But I wanted to take it up a notch.

The rebirth:

First a couple "before" shots...

Next came the decisions:

Power - Mamba 25 with Outrunner (will be here this week)
Battery - 1300Mah Thunder Power
LiPo Safety - FMA LiPo Cutoff
Servo - Hitec HS985
Tranny - B4 Stealth w/ 62PYRO Spool
RCP - TLT CVD's front
RC4WD - Straight Axles rear
GMade Wheel Wideners
Wheels - Axial Black Beadlocks w/ Red Rings
Tires - Moabs w/ 8 oz in fronts plus airsoft over the rim on all 4

Some of the goodies:

Some in progress shots:

Spool - Awesome quality part

Old style straight axle adapters

CVD's with Gmade Wideners. I had to drill out the widener to fit as well as add a longer M4 bolt to make them work.

Stealth mounted. Also showing Jato shafts and hardened yokes. That little plate on the tranny helps hold everything straight.

Front driveshaft angle - No binding here!

Where I left off...

Poser....

More to come....

Sure is alot of these BMVii's here in KC.

Looks good Neal! When my CVD's get here I will have to do the same mod to my wideners I guess.

You going to keep the 80's paint? JK!

It will be nice when I can make some of these comps and such later in the year.

Looks great Neal. The dig looks amazingly clean, does it have a brake?

I like your LiPO case too, that looks really good.

Your right I wouldn't want to run that body either

Thx Mr. Harley. No brake. I'll wait for the elusive R2D2. Plus with a boat load of drag brake, you really only need it in downhill turning situations and we don't have too many of those here so I'll wait it out.

I'm gonna run that paint, screw it, it ain't no shelf queen baby....
