Nope nothing yet. My wife and I have been working the local Bridal show for the last couple days so I haven't been able to do a thing on the beast. I did bolt up the rims and tires (sort of) and I unfortunately think they are too small and stick out too wide. I might be too used to the Losi Claw sized tires on there and my vision is screwed up, but it seems as though the Claws are a better size. That's ok though, the RC4wd Rock Crushers and the Mayhem Engineering 1.9 beadlocks look AWESOME!!! I grenaded my rear pinion on a recent trail ride, so I have to get that fixed up. I think I will show shorter links on the back end of TINY also to shorten up the wheelbase some to make the tires look a little more proportional too. This will be good for the upcoming rock races. For standard comps though, I will keep running the Claws and the longer 12" wheelbase. Pics to come when I finish with business stuff. -Sam |

Cool, I'd love to see it with the crushers anyway to get a perspective. Shane |

I told you the Claws look perfectly sized on that thing. I think if you really want a scale set of Krawlers you might have to take out a bit of sidewall on the 2.2's.

^^^ That is what I was going to say. Reduce the 2.2 rock crushers to 1.9 and they will be perfect. Shane |

What they are saying is to use the taller carcas 2.2 version and cut it down to fit a 1.9 wheel. Then the tire will be taller, but fit on a 1.9 rim. I tore down TINY and repainted the frame after Dean rewelded a shock mount for me. With just the 1.9 crushers, it looks great. I guess it is just the axles being so huge that throws off the looks. I am actually prepping the rig for a photoshoot and I seem to have no time to do it. So time to get out of this post and start wrenching Dave - by the way, I was up at 1AM last night. You could have stopped by and given me a hand with TINY. -Sam | |

Just wanted to give a peak at the Tires pseudo mounted on TINY. Unfortunately I have had no time with the family in town and the comp coming up to really mount these up and test them out. It turns out that they are just the right size. I just have to shorten the rear links and figure a way to get rid of those ugly cap screws on the beadlocks to make it look better. Here is a sneak peak for now. Note I do have a the driver's grab handle now and the seat will be mounted as well. I have a new pack that will hopefully sit flat enough to allow the seat to not be too high up in the chassis. More to come.... -Sam |

Thanks YV. I hope you are a patient man for your version. As you can see, I can barely get mine together in time for a comp and it is bolt together at this point . There won't be a person piloting this thing. Not much into the "doll" look. Maybe it's just me, but I sold my Barbies years ago. Seriously, I just want to have the vehicle without any figure in it. To me it's about the vehicle only. -Sam |
