im very happy with the r2 I have it setup for a 3 stops on the radio so yes I get all 3 functions of the tranny. Im running a 3 cell lipo because my lhs didnt have a 4 cell lipo in stock i feel like gearing down and volting up is the best way to get the balance between smoothness and wheelspeed
I ended up ordereding the rcp ring and pinion gear set...I also got my body painted up I still need to cut the stickers.

cool bec liteup

Lee,

Truck looks great nice job

I see you've installed the MIP CVDs with RCP ring and pinion.

Was the CVD axle (long side) hard to fit in the the ring, I have the same set up and mine didn't fell like it matched up at all :-( I was afraid to get out the press. Did you have to do something special to get a nice fit?

Thanks Storm

Nice, looks like your SW3 sidehills much better than your 2 did. Rig looks like it should crawl very well

Nice rig!. You say you've got your radio set for three stops on the disconnect servo. What radio are you using?

well at nats I broke a rcp pinion gear out of the ring and pinion set..quark was acting up all and all I just wasnt ready..well anyways I rebuilt the truck after braking it in half after the comp..I changed the crawlmaster out for a revoler black I say bruned up the dig servo so I changed to a jr 9000t also changed from a max to a ped front drive shaft and im now using jato turnbuckles for rear upper links also lengthen it about 1/16"

I'd like to take a look at your dig at our next comp if that's OK.
