I changed from a crawlmaster to a revolver black now. So far i dont like the full foams in the rear it seems to bouncy. I stripped the mounting screw hole in the tranny, and i had to grind about a mm off my rims so they would not hit the rc4wd straight axle adapters.

Hey there, nice looking rig I'm wondering how you bend the hood up like that? Do you just bend it, or heat it a wee bit with a heat gun or something?

Also how's the JR (ultra torque) 8711 front steer servo working for ya? Ever get the feeling it may be too much? I'm thinking of picking up one myself, but wonder if it's worth it to get so much power...

I just bent the body by hand tell I liked it and then moved on you the next bend.... I love the servo I run them in all my rigs I feel you can never have to much steering power..I can say I have never said it I had a better servo I could have made that but I hear it alot at the comp with people running the 645mg and other smaller servos...hell I use a 9000t jr for my dig "330 oz"...is the servos to big no..I want some more power..i have been running 3 for about 8 comps now and im very happy..i have alot money in my rigs and cant drive them for ****

Very nice, thanks guys. That's great if you can just bend the body like that, much easier So how about that fat rock servo mount? I've got one, but I don't want to whack the JR servo on a rock or something and be out $135 lol. You have any close calls or does the wheel generally keep the servo outta the rocks?
