Same height as the link mounts on the axel right where the space is in the link mount but he will have to use the other ones the single mount, this is a belly dragger after all

Thanks for all the comments and setup tips guys.
Shock springs are what came with the chassis.

So after it was all mocked up I took it all apart.

Weighed the Chassis while it was apart.
Came in at 10 ounces.

Electronic's bracket mounted to R2 tranny

Had to trim R2's clear gear cover for chassis clearance

I used the back mounting holes to get the servo as far back as possible.

Basic Rear DIG and how I adjust it.

1st position is in 4 Wheel Drive, Lock 2 outer collars

2nd position DIG Engaged, Lock 1 collar

3rd adjust spring tension collar

Underside Front

Underside Rear

Skid

Turning

and the Articulation Shot

Crawling the Coors Lite Jasons wife tried to blame me for him drinking it on the fourth but we all know the truth I used my third channel for a winch but I have been thinking of a dig set up as well, but it is like stuffing 10#s of stuff in a 5# bag. How are you holding the front servo mount on? I was trying to figure out how to move mine back some but gave up and ran it the way Aaron made it.Looking good

In this picture you can see how I did it. Its kind of dark, but you can see one mounted on the left and the other lying in front of the axle.
I screwed a 3mm cap screw into servo mount blocks and cut off the head.

Damn I can be blind sometimes , great trick And I think I saw why you move the front up so you can fit the battery on top of the links. I have different links on my front I though everyone would get.

that thing is pretty sick!! So are your springs mounted as to contract the shocks? Thats a cool idea. It seems you would have to use softer springs in order to achieve the same traction as a standard spring setup.

They are in the $330-$350 range, with links. This does not include axles or tranny, just chassis and links and internal springs.

Thanks,
Casey

With the little drive time I have in this one, 2 batteries ran through it so far. I have to say this thing is AWESOME .

I got the skid plate separate, about 10 minutes before my 1st course run, Noel from RCP whipped this one out for me, a must have item. Thanks again Noel for your quick actions.

Thanks again for all the comments Guys.
I'll have some pics of it on the ROCKS soon

Nice set up. I'll have to agree, these little Hustlers work amazingly well. I couldn't be happier with mine. I still need a bit more time behind the wheel to learn how it reacts and it's limits. First time 2.2 build for me. The first time I ever ran a 2.2 comp with mine,I pulled 4th place.

On your dig set up,do you have a brake? Or is it solely a disconnect?

I tried running a disconnect only but it wouldn't dig real well when burning the front off. After I put a brake on it,it's ALLOT better dig set up. Can't wait till the next comp, this thing is a blast to drive.

Yea it has brake, I was gonna try to get a neutral worked into it but not sure if I would use it much. I just need to get a 3 position non return to center switch on my TQ3's third channel and it should work......... I think I'm gonna give it a try

YOU CAN DO IT!

Definitely get a neutral/front wheel drive only position if you can. I've got mine set up like that and use it quite often. Toggle to the left,it's disconnected with brake. Switch in the neutral/middle position,it's 4WD and switch to the right it's 2WD front only with no brake. It's made a huge difference in vertical climbs. Theres been a couple places it's walked where other rigs wouldn't even come close
