Nice build there Racer...
The quality tig work on the chassis is great. Someone has definatly had some practice. This thing took a few hard hits on the rocks yesterday with only some paint scratching off. They are nice!! However, you can't beat some of the nice designs you can make on your own. If I had the time and the pateince I would try to make my own.

I'll try and take a few shots tonight. I dremeled the Fat Rock C where the knuckle hit, and I ground down the knuckle where it hit the Fat Rock C.

Thanks

Do you run the stock TLT axles? Mine seem to bind before the c-hub and knuckles hit.

thanks

That's my problem as well - not so much patience, but most definitely time. That's the problem with an executive level job in the pool/spa industry in the summertime, I just don't have much free time.

Ability I do have. I've made custom knives for years, hand-forged blades with steel or brass fittings soldered or brazed on. I'm no stranger to a torch by any means.

I always lean towards the make it myself end of things vs. buying off the shelf, but the Hustlers are obviously well made and work like they should, and they are piling up an impressive list of comp victories. In this case I'm thinking of going with a proven winner right out of the blocks instead of trail-and erroring my own design (which would probably end up looking a lot like a Hustler anyway, because I like the "lines" of their design)

you still need to do a bunch of tweeking to get it to perform to your liking and driving style, but the geometry is real good from the start
