I bought my torch from a used tool sale many years ago and paid about $25 for it. Eastwood carries 'em at $150. Might be able to find it cheaper though. http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...emType=PRODUCT I was gonna use some colored shim stock for panels but never got it. So, I went to my LHS and picked up some 0.060" poly sheet they had. I ended up using Rustoleum Painter's Touch Deep Blue (Home Depot) on it. It stuck well and I twisted and bent the heck out of a piece and couldn't get it to lift so it seems like it might hold up well. Quote:
flux applied, and then proper heat (too cold and the brass blobs, too hot and you burn the flux and it won't flow well). Just gotta practice a bit. Jay | ||
