I used a .5mm Teflon shim behind the pinion gear. I put over 100 hours on this and sold the axles without any problems or replacment parts being needed...the gears were fine. Maintenance is the key.

Rockbound, First thing I would do is check how they are locked. You want to make sure that it is done correctly. Don't trust someone elses work. Especially for a comp. My suggestion is Fat rock C's and knuckles. You can then go to rear straight axle adapters. |

Cool! so i am guessing that FAT ROCK'S axle c's and aluminum knuckles are the best ones to buy? or does someone else make a better knuckle? I would really like to get a set of those clocked axle c's but they seem to have died off in the searches i have performed! no one is making them yet i guess. |
