well we took our rigs out to bootleg canyon today and the blackjacks are kicking ***!! this truck makes striaght climbs that SW2s, J2-TTs, bulu 2s, SW3s, XRCs and P4 v.2s have not been able to climb... sidehilling is also much better than 2.2 rigs im used to. as far as the truck goes i need to trim down my memory foams a little bit and its ready. my driving however im worried is not quite as good as it should be with nationals coming up in a few weeks. im gonna spend a lot of time driving this thing before the trip up to moab...

unfortunetly the cameras didnt come out til right after i broke a stubshaft taking a long fall this morning. so i dont have any new pics of it. drumbeater might have gotten some. but i know rizzo or I did not.

They did very well today. I am very pleased with their performance. I cannot wait to get the Axial platform going as well.

Thanks again Diesel for your help with the Blackjack.

I am really digging the performance of this rig. I think with the Losi tires and the chassis layout are really sick.

This would be the Goat, you be the judge...

The Goat has to be my all time favorite chassis to run....

I would have to say that the Black Jack is deffenitly a sleek looking chassis
Great job Rizzo and Diesel.

So are these setup for R2 only...I wouldn't run anything besides that.

(Just about half my crew is running the R2 in their comp rigs, awesome tranny I think.)

It was designed originally for the Axial and the stealth. The R2 just happens to fit like a glove. I just don't think the Pede will fit unless it was really hacked down.

That is cool - I used to ride MTB there a lot, my good friend Trailmaster B takes care of Bootleg Canyon for the town of Boulder City.

If he could get a chairlift put in there, every top downhill pro would be training there every winter.

I was'nt into crawling yet when we were going there a lot, but I can think of several places that would be fun lines w/o even walking far from the parking lot.

Yep, that is low-profile alright. Good looking chassis. I like the simplicity...

sorry, didn't mean to offend.

i was mainly pointing out that it's height is about the same as cutting an SW2 pretty much in half (which is what i did with mine...)

I see what you're saying.

I took it out again last night to a park here in town. Im still getting used to it, but it performs great!! Its so low that it sidehills very well and it climbs anything it can get traction on. Im having a problem with my quark that ive got to figure out and last night one of my differentials started popping... But otherwise im happy with the truck as a whole. Just gotta work out those bugs, before that little competition up in moab every september.
