this is a new chassis that a couple of us here in vegas have been working on. we're calling it the blackjack, the goal was to make it low profile and still have a great breakover angle... so far its working pretty well, theyre very stable and climb very well also. the top of the chassis sits just barely above the top of the tires and the bottom still has great clearance.

the r2 with the revolver fit perfectly in there look at pic #2.

just poser shots for now i cant get the action shots to resize...

specs...

sincityrcrc "blackjack" 2.2 chassis
rc4wd R2 transmission
maxx shafts
locked and loaded TLT axles
OG revolver/quark33 brushless
novak XXtra reciever
erickson straight 6 beadlock wheels
moab/masher hybrids
traxxas aluminum body rustler front shocks
internal springs from a hardware store here in vegas
team associated external springs
memory foams
stick on lead wheel weight
ground clearance - 3 1/16"
wheelbase - 12 7/16"
top of chassis - 4 7/8"
track width - 10 1/4"

that might be the closest thing to compare it to but its much more low profile and more stable.

Dang, how does your crawler rate? Just hanging out by the pool, what a way to live. Chassis looks good.

dieselfuel 08-18-2007 09:17 PM

hahahaa the sandstone boulders set in the patio out back are the closest rocks. who wants to see a crawler sitting on a counter top or carpet floor?

im offended, im sorry if thats your rig in those pics but please dont compare the two.

cc405, thanks man, im trying to get used to driving it. its much more stable and predictable than what im used to run. lowed center of gravity and less articulation are working out well for me.

naz-t, thanks again man, its inspired by a few of the chassis that rizzo and i have run and seen run well in the past.

minijosh 08-19-2007 02:27 AM

When can I get one?
