Looks good! That battery idea is awesome! Might have to limit your front shocks so they don't hit the battery at full flex though. Are you going to put the croc hunter body on too? Maybe hence the name "ankle biter"? Man, I should really get a cool name for mine... |

Any more progress? Those tires/wheels are the same that I ran on my xxx-t when I raced it. Except I had half-blade half-nubby in the fronts. What kind of wheels are you looking at running on it? Probably the kyosho monster pirate wheels would look really good with that body. And maybe swamp dawgs, since crocs are in the swamp, see, where I'm going with the theme? |

yeh i runn those on my xxxt as well and becuase i race i hace lik 1000 pairs of tires like that so i just threw them on but i have made som progress not to much just maken the electronics mounts and suck and the batter compartment wors perfectly i haec just hte right amount of art. so it doenst hit anything. and as for wheel im not to familiar with the ones you just describes but if you could send me a link that would be cool and as for tires i think the swamo dogs would be pretty awesome also i have one question can someone post how to use the traxxas sliders i work in a hobby shop so anything is at my disposal lol so could some one just give me some instructions on how to do it thats all im waiting on |

Slider conversion is in the TLT-10 tips thread. SROimedia did it another way, check his post in the general thread. Also, the swamp dawgs are awesome! I just picked up a set, pics'll be in the general crawlers area. And heres a pick of RCJim's TLT project with those wheels on it: |

TRD, those look like plastic clips you can buy at hardware stores. It'll be very hard to find ones to fit on the maxx links, unless you are in a big city with major hardware stores. Usually the smallest stores carry are 1/4".
