Needless to say I love this truck!

That same yellow bug body went to Nationals last year and came in 30 something fast foward 1 year. I got my GC-1 about 3 weeks before nationals and started building it. Got 3rd place this year and Austin got 1st with his GC-1! The GC-1 kicks ***!

The GC-1 climbs great and has less torque twist than ANY shafty rig I've ever driven, you could say it doesn't have torque twist.

Alot of this is due to its trick suspension which you can see in the last pic which is when the bug body comes into play.

Hey Jeff I finally cut the body post down!:-( Those were my smoke stacks!

Here are the nude pics. You can see where I had to trim the side plates alittle to get the R2D to fit. The main reason was I didn't want the motor sticking out the side like on my other trucks. Had to do the same thing with my XRC which was the only rig to ever beat Austin and his GC-1 in a comp since he has been driving with 2 hands.

I went back to brushed for this build after driving Austin truck a little. I put a Mamba Maxx, 3cell lipos, and a 55t lathe motor in this truck and it is so so smooth!

I love Rock Claws and they work great with the Kreepys and the RC4WD beadlocks.

Your links are rusty and your shaft is droopy!

Looks good, are you going to be at Crawlapalooza?

If so I can't wait to see this rig in person!

Very nice. Congrats to you and Austin. Just got my GC-1 a couple of days ago and started the build today. Since I didn't get directions :-P, I was wondering the length you used for your links. I was running Junfac links, but the balls don't pivot enough for the lower links.

One good thing about having no rain this summer is....ALOT more crawling down at the creek. The Losi Claws did very well on the wet and sandy rocks.
