It shouldn't. I've been running Maxx shafts for a long time and never broke one, even with brushless.

Default Low CG

Looks nice and low. It really moved the CG down low where you need it! I can't wait for a new video of it! Are you going to run the ax10 axles soon too?

You will like that tranny Bender, I have been running one for about a month or so no now. I like the stock gearing too, 14/87, with 8.4 volt. The wheel speed is about right and I have plenty of power with a 55t pro can.

I don't know if I could give up TLT axles though, they still have the smallest diff center on the market once they are shaved.

Did you drill the outputs on the AX10 tranny?

I've been breaking a lot of TLT parts lately. I've also been watching jason throttle his AX10 since day one with very little breakage in the axles.

I can let you know real soon about the axles. I just switched to MM with 10.8 volts to go with a Axion 50T Pro motor. Hence the interest in the Maxx Shafts! NOw if we can get the snow to stop!

For those what were wondering about the Losi shocks I'm running, they are off the rear of the XXX-T CR

To complete a set of 4 shocks you will need these parts seperately, plus springs:
LOSA5056 X2 1.2 Threaded Shock Body
LOSA5062 X4 1.2 Titanium Nitride Shock Shaft
LOSA5015 X4 Shock Cartridge
LOSA5079 X1 Shock End and Spring Cups
LOSA6100 X2 1/8" E Clips (Just to have spares)
LOSA5046 X1 #56 Shock Pistons (Red)
LOSA2006 X1 .250 Pivot Ball

Yes I did drill out the outputs on the trans, I felt it was a must do thing.

My TLT axles have been holding up really good lately. I only had a pinion issue, but it was upgraded for the stainless steel pinion from the copper one that failed. RCP handled that with no problems, props to those guys.

I switched out the fatrock C's for MSD C's too. They have been pretty much bullet proof so far. I do stay away from the brushless power though.

I still can't get over how well your rig performs. I'm liking the new upgrades.

I like my set-up so far, I may add a brake at some point. But, the newest collar is holding up good.

I love the Losi shocks!! Been running them sence my 1st tuber. I love how smooth they are and haven't had a single problem. I have also converted many of my fellow club members and all of them absolutely love them. The only thing I change on them is the shock end, I use Traxxas shock ends they are stronger and work better with metric hardware.

Nice work Brad.... See ya at a comp soon.

Thanks Mike.

Yup, the Losi shocks are by far the smoothest shock I've ever run. There's a handful of guys here that have also recently made the switch. I thought about swapping out the rod ends to Traxxas too for the same reason. But, wasn't sure they'd fit, good to hear that they do. I ended up running a small round file through the stock ball ends to make them work with the M3 hardware.

That's a good tip Naz-T, that was the first thing I did when I swapped to my Losi shocks last spring.

Bender,

do you sell the long skid you have on your truck? and do you by chance also have one for he sw2 as well?

I was told to Pm a rcc vendor for a custom and skid and have not heard back.

truck looks great..

I do not run losi shocks anymore, but I will admit they are super smooth when built right.

I am working on some full length skids for the SW3. They'll be drilled for the AX10 tranny too.

The standard SW2 skid covers the bottom of the chassis better then the standard SW3 skids, so I haven't had many requests for full length SW2 skids.
