Sweet! I love the slingers. they are pretty soft but not to soft or stiff. I ran these on my bmvii and they did really good. Thanks

That is some creative tube bending there. I like how the upper "windshield" tubes dip in the middle. The lines overall go great with the FJ body.

This thing looks really cool so far.

This would be a great candidate for a 2-speed transmission of some kind...

How does the 1/18 size front clip of the body compare to say the normal 1/10 scale bodies? Is the tuber ultimately smaller? Where did you find that body anyway?

Its a pretty small body, thats why im only using the front clip. Its definatly a lot smaller than a 1:10 scale body. Thats also why im using 1.9's and a smaller wheelbase. And i found the body at the dollar store for $5.Big Mike, thanks i thought the lones looked pretty good myself. And i think a 2 speed would be sweet in it, but i think im gona get it into roller condition and the sell it. Theres already someone interested in it. Thanks!

No real updates. Couldn't really do anything because i didn't have any link mounts. But i placed an order for some, aluminum knuckles, and steering servo. This thing should be a roller by the end of this weekend. I hope. Man i wish i could go back in time and re-weld this thing. Ive spent a few hours grinding and grinding, and haven't really got anywhere. Heres some pictures of some of the semi clean welds. Still have lots to do. This is the only thing i hate about building these. I love fabricating them but then comes the cleaning. O well, i hope it turns our ok.
