sweet lookin rig! I'll be gettin a bmv chassis soon, how did you tilt or rotate the tranny like that? I understand that your front pinion angle is perfect... what about your rear? Have you had any problems with it?

actually i've never broken a rear one before.... i've broken the front ones even with the tranny tilted like that... my plan is to make a wedge for the rear axle so it kicks the pinion up on the axle making the pinion angle way better!!! and as far as getting it tilted down i just took my dremel and went to town on the piece of derlin... angled as much as i needed to make the pede tranny fit into it... then just drilled two angled holes to mount the tranny and called it good!

You crack me up, "it does alright", alright enough to beat 46 other trucks at the last WARCRC comp. It performs very well, gotta give props where they're due

I keep trying to tell myself the same thing, "you just had a bad day":-P , but there is no denying all the talent that ORCRC brought that day. One thing I'm doing next time is making sure all my plugs are all the way in the rx, so I don't have to take another repair because my dig servo quit as soon as I started stage 2. Looking forward to crawling with you again.

Looks great, every time I see one of these it makes me want to buy another set of TLT axles, I keep having to remind myself that I have too many projects already. Once I finish my wife's rig maybe I'll make the switch to a BMV2.
