Madko, that was very nicely written. An english teacher would be proud

Alright, so it is now a week after their intended release date. Has anyone gotten any more word on the situation? Are they at the walmart warehouse? Anyone seen one in action, anything???

I sure hope they are coming in soon. I was really looking forward to having one. They might be a lil on the cheap built, but it will atleast be a fun little toy to play with.

thanks for posting that. I think that the July 05 in ad means July 2005, not July fifth.

i kinda like how the steering is enclosed in the axle for protections sake, but it looks like it would be impossible or difficult to add some befier rods.

I just called the Funrise Rep for Wal-Mart in Bentonville and left a message, we'll see if he get's back to me. I asked when the shelf date was. When, or if, he calls I will ask him about pricing too.

whoa! those are pretty slick!!!

i'm getting the jeep for sure. if nothin else the body would be great for 1:6 crawler project.

ed- wait a second, i really dont think those are 1/6. look at the size of the hardware on them.
(forgive me if i'm a moron and somebody has already pointed it out earlier in the thread...)

they say its a 1:6th scale, but the 1:6th scale version has not been released yet. the one pictured is the 1:18th scale, which is the exact same thing in the first link in this thread.

the under $200 price is for the 1:6th scale, not the 1:18th scale.

there are 2 different sizes of the same truck

doh...
