Here is a parts breakdown.

TLT axles
Stampede tranny
Stampede drive shafts
Bruiser frame rails
Custom aluminum cross members and tranny mounts
Custom aluminum shock mounts, fronts need to be redone. They are just mock up towers.
TLT shocks
HPI rims
HPI Geolander tires
Bruiser front cab piece
Associated BFT links
and lots of other custom parts.

So in the end, not much TLT left, and not much Bruiser. But without the TLT and bruiser parts, this truck would be nothing but a box of parts.

The framerails are from the bruiser, thats it. The axles and shocks are TLT, the tranny and driveshafts are stampede. Other than that, it is all custom made. I'm glad you did this Etype, as I have a pair of bruiser framerails sitting around and I was getting lost as to what to do for a chassis for my TLT axles, so I'm thinking of using your truck as a reference if that's ok with you. I may get a clod body for mine, bob the bed, hmmm the ideas Great truck though, I've been watching the buildup over on scale4x4 and to see it finally close to done its just awesome!

I haven't had much time to work on the flat bed really. And the past week I was pretty busy working on my other trucks. Rebuilt a few and fixed others up for a event our club had this weekend.

I hope to get some progress done on this truck in a few weeks.

Here are a couple off body shots. I still need to add to the cage a bit,and I need to work on a front bumper brace.

Finally another update. I spent a few hours yesterday and today working on the front bumper. I also finally brazed the front cage supports onto some brackets to bolt onto the frame.

I started with a length of 1/2" steel sqaure tubing and cut it down to the width I wanted. I wanted to have the tips bend in to flow with the grill of the body. So I marked the two spots where the ends would be bent in. Then I clamped the piece in my vice. Using my jigsaw with a metal blade I made one insert on each mark, almost cutting all the way though the tubing. I bent in both ends and lined it up with the body. And it looked perfect, I was worried I would need to do a second cut on both ends.

I brazed the cuts to hold the new shape. Then I followed up with bending up a mounting bracket to fit over the frame rails. I drilled a set of holes in both the back of the bumper and through the bracket. The bumper is tapped to 6-32.

The upper bar took several attempts to get the right bend and look. And I am very happy with the end result.

I still need to make the bed for the truck, and a roof over the cab. Then several other details to follow. I also plan to add some more pieces to the cage for added detail before it gets painted.
