toyofast, Yea, I'm planning on heading out there on Sunday if my parts come in on time. I snapped an axle yesterday and my belt is skipping like crazy. I need a Stampede tranny in this thing really bad. My parts should be in by Friday, Saturday at the latest so I should be ready to go on Sunday. I think the wheel wideners will be a nice addition to the truck. I know climbing curbs is efortless now with the added width. I'm just waiting for a place and time

Toyofast is correct. Go to www.inetrc.com and click on the clodbuster section. Go to the bottom and click on wheel wideners. Those will work on the TLT. They do need a little work in making them fit (you need to dremel down your hex nut a little so it's flush with the end of the wheel widener).

I had seen that truck a few times in the OCRC pics. I like the fact you are still running the stock body, makes it different. Those gold wheels are a hoot too, I haven't seen gold wheels on a truck in so long, but its cool, I like it, those deep 5 stars are one of my favorite wheels. What all are your plans for the truck, besides a pede tranny? I can't wait to get out and drive mine, jeez, its been forever, and the last time I drove was for 5 minutes.... I hate house work...

Plays_with_Toys, Mostly I'm toying with ideas right now. I'm either going to try and shoehorn in a Stampede transmission or I'm going to have some custom plates made that what will allow me to use the gears from a stampede transmission in the truck (I like this idea better). Once I drop the the new transmission in I'm going to switch to Traxxas Sliders. When this is done I'm going to stretch it out just a little bit more. Probably take it out to 17.5" total length and 12.25" width. That should put my wheelbase around 12.5" I just put on a belt tensioner today which should make the belts last a lot longer and will give me more time to save up some money for a pede transmission. I'm also planning on cutting a bit more tread out of my tires and maybe adding BB's to the front tires. A new body is down the line and I have a couple of ideas, maybe a pede truck body, maybe a Hum V body (several different ones that I'm considering), maybe a T-Maxx Land Cruiser or Jeep body. I'm really not sure yet. An easily changeable battery pack would be nice so I could get more than 1 hour of drive time. Down the road I'm going to try a set of T-Maxx tires on RPM offset rims. That will give me an extra 1/2" in wheel height. The rims will be narrowed a little also. I'm sure I'll think of a few more things I'd like to do to it down the road
