I always loved the green landcruiser, but definately the winner would go to SigP232 for a small scale look alike. He's also built a ford F-350 with robbe axles that had a several page spread in rccar action. The scorpion and bastard replicas are also top notch, but the fact that scorpion has all the internals color matched and tow hooks makes it stand out that much more. Super sancho, did you just come over from RCMT? I go there maybe once in a month to see if there are any cool pullers/MT's and I saw your bruiser in the ROM contest. |

hoopty- you may not have the most scale rig (that goes to bigbadwhitey) but yours is the best looking.

hoopty's is actually verry scale i see rigs out at hollister like that all the time/ theyre small jeeps and first gen broncos/ that are running full width axles like a dana 60 in the front and a 10.25 in the rear/ and theyre wide like that and ive seen jeeps fully tubed with body panels bolted on and all kinds off wild stuff a scale craler just means no monster truck tires in my opinion cuz ive seen all kinds of crazy rigs with huge tires and tubed/ like the tires on hooptys jeep are like scale version of 46" tires/ and is running full width axles and fox shoxks coil overs |

all the trucks look awesome, i wish i had skills like that.. lol sigp's stuff is sweet, i think it's a tie between him, bbw, and the yellow bruiser i was thinking tho.. does anybody make a smaller camera, or maybe a smaller lens. the problem is that the trucks are too big in relation to the pictures. to see what i mean, take a pic of your 1:1 and see how far away you have to be to get the whole truck in.. if we had smaller lenses i think it would look more realistic bdr |

There are actually smaller springs INSIDE the shock body. Thats how they work. josh Quote:

Thanks Josh is that just to make the shocks look more scale? or do they work better in a crawler application that way? |

Its a scale look, I tried lots of different shocks and spring combo's but I couldnt get a good match that actually compared as well as a regular setup. Hulk perhaps you could share what spring you are using inside? Thanks! Brandon |
