Default my new TLT with pics.

Here are some pics of my tlt that i have taken. i am currently making it longer. i have put the wheels and tires on and when i was putting them on for some reason the right side i cant put the wheels on. it just seems like the screw that you put the nut on is just to short. what do you guys think? do you think that it could be the wheel type or what?

I assume you're talking about those stampede wheels. I have heard a few complain that the screw isn't long enough for some wheels, so it could be the cause in your case.

The pede wheels are too wide where the screw goes through, I couldn't get the nut on. Its a simple fix though, I just took a 1/2in drill bit and drilled 1/8in deep on the outside of the rims. Then the nut could fit on, and I've never had any problems since then.

The more expensive route would be to switch to HPI RS4 screws. They are longer, and make the truck slightly wider.

I built my stepson tlt crawler. I used nitro Rustler wheels. Had the same trouble with the thickness of the wheels. What I did is I found a set of drive hexes thant were not as thick. Haven't had any problems.
