Looks a little pinkish to me but I'm sure the cam flash is causing some of that( at least I would hope so )

Downloaded jonrobholmes' image resizer, uploaded some pics...

-The paint is anything but pinkish. It is blood red.
-Right now I'm having trouble removing the powdercoat from the bearing
surfaces, I'll need to take it home and start sanding away with a rotary tool.
-Ordered a Recaro cell phone seat for it tonight, along with Inet 17mm adapters, 1/8 moabs, and a set of rims. We'll see how that goes (meanwhile, it's time to write to the Better Business Bureau about JPS).
-I'd like to run a Li-Po pack in this, but I'm unsure about wiring to the 540 motor, I guess it's time to lurk in the electronics section for some info.
-Body; Jeep Rubicon, hacked to pieces, well primarily the hood, as the body panels will be aluminum. I'm currently looking for an image of a WWII pinup girl from the nose of a bomber, you know, Lady Luck, Miss Hap, etc.
-More pics to come...

No, I wish that I'd milled it, but I had actually posted a while ago in chit chat about them. People told me they'd be too heavy to use. Umm, no. I'll place it on a scale and compare it to the stock plastic case, but we're maybe a few grams heavier, nothing appreciative. It's really quite thin. Made by an eBay seller by the name of RCBros. Some excellent machining btw. It comes with excellent hardware, packaging, and great fit and finish. It actually consists of five pieces; the two halves, a thin base plate, and the two hinge pin mounts. I'll post some close ups...

Oh, and billet bling does come at a price...

Some, too busy at the moment, but I found something for that TJ body that you might be interested in... (I found the stock fender flares, they're a soft rubber compound and would look pretty cool) They're sitting on my desk, when I get a few minutes, I'll ship them out!
