I mounted some Erickson delrin beadlocks on TXT axles, reversed with the hex cut all the way through the wheel, custom disk/rings for a stop for the hex along with some custom hexes. It's under the width for the 2.2 class, I'd go my route over messing with stub shafts and all, oh yeah, also I've got TTR CVDs.

That's a good setup but I'm trying to get down to under 11". The WK stubs (5.00 per pair) will fit with if I mill the groove out for the TXT pin. Then all I need to do is mill up some custom C' to get them on there.

9 1/4 hex to hex but with the smaller C's & knuckles I can get positive offset wheels from Mayham or VF to bring her in some more.

I have to start milling the rear straight axle adapters now. I've got the pieces to make the jig and 20 feet of 1/4 tube on order is 3.00 a good deal for 20 feet of tube?

Thanks

It's a 5 pinion planetary drive trans with two speeds, one set of gears on the input side is plastic the other two sets are steel. I had to make the motor mount, output housing, output shaft and adapter for the gear. Now I'm making a billet transfer case. I'm on a budget so I took apart my old 12 volt Dewalt drill, but You can buy the tranny online for about 30.00. You can't get the Dewalt gear so I took a bunch of gears out of bags at the hobby store and wasn't happy with the fit of any of them, they were to small to mesh the gears or the jammed one gear off to the side. I made an adapter and had to sweat the Dewalt gear onto the adapter.

It runs super slow, and super fast, but it is super heavy.

Default Suspension idea

Been a little busy but have made a little progress.

any comments on this suspension setup would be appreciated. Its a droop setup with a cantilever shock shared front to back, so as the front goes up the back gets pushed down.

I'm diggin the suspension design. I had a similar set-up on my TLT-1 basher, I used aluminum LST2 bellcranks for the cantilevers. However all you really need is the center shock, why not just replace the front and rear ones with some solid links. I like the machine work on those axles though.

You'd need a solid link on top instead of the shock, to make it work that way, or else the upper shock would just compress instead of pushing/pulling the other end.
Keep up the out of the box thinking, that's how new things come about

I was going to leave the front and rear shocks springless and use a spring on the center, kind of a droop/coupled/sprung setup.

Then again I may not as I'm hurting for room on the right rear for shock mounting since I put my motor and trans back there on the axle.

Here is the rear axle assembly with the billet straight axles, Dig, and the 2 speed Dewalt tranny running off the same servo. All that will be on the Chassis is the T-case, speed control, and receiver (batteries go on the front axle).
