busted the steering servo on my txt-1. can this servo work on my txt-1? this is the only servo that is available here locally. tower pro MG945 Servo =P 950.00 MG945 weight- 55.0g Dimension 40.7*19.7*42.9mm Stall torque 12kg/cm Operating speed 0.25sec/60degree(4.8v) Operating voltage 4.8-7.2V Temperature range 0℃_ 55℃ Dead band width 10us |

there is a towerpro 995 which is in the 15kg/cm range which might be better. if that is the only one you can get then give it a shot. it may be a little under powered in some situations but you might do alright.

I had a couple 945's on my TXT. The first one lasted 10 minutes before stripping a gear, the other one went about 4 hours on the rear of the same TXT, but it now cant find center and the tires just bounce back and forth. I would go with a quality servo, my personal favorite is the hitec 5955. I have 4 them and i have never had a problem, even turning the big tires on my TXT |

my old servo was a XTM-175, The hitech is not available here in the P.I. unless I order onine which will cost more because of shipping. 10 mins! even with the metal gears? BTW the P 950 is about 23 USD. What could be wrong with my STM servo, if I will turn it full one side then connect it to the receiver it will turn to the other side then no response. |
