Default '08 X-22 Comp Tuber

Start off with the specs...

Chassis: Sinastir Crawlers X-22 Super, modified to work with my TXT drivetrain
Trans: GD600 and TXT tranny
Motor: 7T puller, with 10T coming
ESC: Mamba Max, and CC BEC to be added

This is the first major overhaul of my TXT in 4 years, and so far everything points to it being for the best. Carbon fiber panels will be coming once I am happy with the set-up and I wont need to add or remove them as often. The Rx packs on the servos is what I used last season to power my servos, but this year I have the CC BEC. Ran out of time to get it installed tonight, and will have it in there tomorrow.

So far in what little testing I got in today, it is far more stable than the old set-up of a modified stock TXT chassis. Sidehills a lot better, and the suspension is a lot more predictable. Not to mention the huge reduction in sprung weight, and the overall CG lowering.

As you can see the driveline is very long and was a trick to get mounted up. The use of the stock TXT trans is why there are two vertical uprights in the middle of the chassis.

As the snow/ice melts more testing will come, but so far all is good. I have nothing but good things to say about the 7T puller, and can't wait to finish up my 8 cell packs and see how it likes that!

looking good! not sure i like the batteries sticking up out in the open in the rear! potential damage/dnf! i'd also turn the rear shocks around so the reseviors are more protected.

It works pretty good so far, can't wait to have it down there by ya'll. That place hated the old set-up

I wouldn't worry about the batteries buddy...Those are just temporary to test until I get the BEC hooked up later on this week. Then they will be gone.

I am not too worried about the reservoirs, never had problems with them like that before. But I may do it, need more testing first...

Here is an updated pic with panels. Still need to finish up the new battery packs and BEC hook up.

Talk to John, Keith. The chassis can use any axle you want. The chassis shown here, like I said is a little different than what will be the production version. I had a few changes made for the TXT trans, and a few other items...
