| Two noob questions...TXT and Juggernaut
I have never owned neither a Jugg or a TXT and I see some Jugernauts selling at about $120 used in great shape here in Japan this one starts bid at 120bucks... also there is a stock pair of TXT axles assembled bid for $30 they are in perfect condition are they worth trying to build a crawler with or should I stick to TLT and Clod axles? reason I'm asking is especially that the TXT axles are very cheap...I got my used Clod axles for $60 can I use a AX10 or Stampede tranny with the TXT axles also? |

TXT are the more desired axles of the bunch, they have stronger input shafts. You can make a Jug axle just as strong as a TXT just by swapping a few parts. And you can use a Pede, Axial, any transmission you want. Be creative!! |

Crap, at those prices I'd buy both the Jugg and the TXT axles. As said, get the TXT axles. They can easily be 4-linked since the top cover on TXTs have link mounts. Better yet buy em and send em to me. |

I have a R2HD tranny http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=749 working ok with my Goat, Im currently installing a GD600(which I strongly recommend) You could run a different motor setup and have a great setup, but I wanted to wheel speed with the brushless so I just going to get that reduction system in Oh and when the axles have "2000" printed on them that means they are Jugg1 correct? and that is the weak set of axles ( like that ones shown in the above pic) |

SO the only difference between a Jugg axle and a TXT axle is the top cover and the input shaft?? Will the Jugg axle stand up to a single 55 turn thru a Stampede tranny?? Will the Jugg axles be stronger than upgraded TLT axles??

There is another difference, TXTs have stub axles that are a little longer than Jugg/Clod because TXTs have wider wheel adapters. The stub shafts still can use Jugg/Clod wheel adapters, they just need spacers under the wheel nuts.

The width of the TXT axles makes it a bit tricky to make it a 2.2 although others have done it. | |
