Made some progress today. Figured out how I was going to lock out the rear. I used a 3/8 washer and a rubber washer and glued the 2 together. Then I slid it in between the wheel hub and the axle C and put the bolts back in. Simple and strong.

Then I got all my links finished up and the front end mounted to the K2-5

Working on the rear!

Body shots!

Thanks, It will hopefully sit a little lower once the shocks are mounted.

Since the belly clearance is alot higher I decided to stretch it to approx 15". Thinking I should change the Title to 15er

Naw, Dirk calls his 13'er a 12.5" 2.2... So I don't see any reason to change the title.

Nice work, the low stance and higher clearance should be nice. I'm more and more impressed with my k2-3s TXT. It did great at the comp today

Got it standing on it's own today. Just used some shocks I had kicking around for now. I plan on using max shafts with the drilled out tranny yoke to fit a traxis metal yoke. High clearance links are also in the near future.

In order to fit the tranny and VF dig unit better I had to move the upper links to the outside of the chassis. Everything fits so nice and compact now.

Body on shot!

Might I suggest...

LST Claw with added Moab XL sidewall. Performs very nice on my 17.5" super.

Killer work there big guy, I like your choice of chassis and how it is all coming together. Looks like a contender already, hope to see it on the rocks soon.

Awesome work there Sparky!!! Great way to think outside the box with the K2-5 chassis.

Is it going to be running for the comp? I'll be there with my new 16er K2-3L Clod.

For tires you should reduce some 40 Moabs XL's, I love the look of Pinchy's.

Thanks Grizz. I dought it will be running, actually I now it wont be I need like everything electronics wise and still have no idea on tires. Also working on the lower links, trying to make them more parallel with the uppers.
I'm trying to find a tire that is as short as possible, like the mashers. I beleive that I will be using the Maximizer beadlocks because they have a 0 offset and are only 2.2" wide, plus still having the 14mm hex. May not have to narrow them what so ever
Clod? Thats to bad
