I'm trying to find a tire that is as short as possible, like the mashers. I beleive that I will be using the Maximizer beadlocks because they have a 0 offset and are only 2.2" wide, plus still having the 14mm hex. May not have to narrow them what so ever
Clod? Thats to bad
I have a set of mashers all mounted up on wheels, they are the maxx sized ones...

Well I've been playing around with the lower links to get them a little more paralell with the uppers. I moved the lower link mounts to the top of the axle. Much better

Got my HeydCo 12-14mm addapters for a nice narrow width. Thanks ACE

Now on to the servo mount

Thanks HH, I'm really digin the set up with the new K2-5. It comes to you at 16" across the top but I shortened it to 12" in order to fit the body I deceided to use and its all laying out perfect.

I could see a sick clod build out of it

Got my 10turn cobalt and mounted it to the tranny. Found the right placement in the chassis with loads of roomI also mounted the dig servo to the chassis using the stock mount that came with the dig. It gives the arm a more even throw.

figured out the steering servo for the front axle. The lower link mount location gave me few options.

I was so happy to see that everything was going to clear and that there was no binding or rubbing anywhere. I do however have to wallow the 2 end delrin chassis suports about a 1/4" in order to fully clear the upper links at full flex

A few poser shots

That thing looks amazing!

What are you going to do with the extra lenght of rails? It looks like you could cut it back to the shocks.

I still need to build one of these. Your going about it exaclty like I would, dig, AX-10 tranny, even the Pro-Line Giant Tracs

Thanks brett, this chassis is amazing with the belly clearance and ease of mounting everthing. I just sent the 2 chassis stand offs over to Brad for a little modinThats why they are not in the recent pics. I needed to take about 1/4" + out of them in order to clear the upper links better. I plan on using them for body mounting. I'll post pics when I get them back

Get'er done I bet you'll love it! I'm still not sure about the tires yet but I think they would work awsome done up right.
