I ended up using the dremil with a sanding disc and wallowed out the chassis stays to clear the upper links.

I changed the outer wheel axles from TXT to Clod in order to work with the narrowed Haydco addapters.

I do however see Front CVD's coming soon for the best possible steering.

Not done yet but I've got a few more things marked off the list

I ordered a set of 5mm-6mm shaft converters from rc4wd in order to feel better about drilling them to fit max shafts/tranny yokes.

Also got body mounts on

Oh ya, painted up the body too, the worst part of the whole build for me

Thanks guys!

Chip, I used Rc4wd 5-6mm shaft converters and then drilled them out on the 6mm side.

Thank patrick, I just got my wheels in today and the way it is looking I may have to narrow the GT's or go with a wider addapter. I'm leaning towards the addapters at this point

Well this thing is going to make it's first comp this weekend. I finally got everything installed and fired up. Got a couple different tire choices since I cant seem to make up my mind. I picked up a set of giant tracs and Losi lst's. I'm hoping to get a bunch of pic's

Good looking build. I'd recommend narrowed Mashers. I'm running narrowed Mashers on my 14r Huster with Twin axles. Works really well for me. By far the funnest rig I've built so far.

That might be the way I'm heading. We will see

Well for one, this Cobalt 10 turn is all its cracked up to be. I snaped the AX-10 tranny outputs in about 2 minutes into course 1. The tourqe from this motor is incredible. I did run with no slipper so I guess I was asking for it.
I'm going to go through and mod a few things and take it back out for some more testing

You should look into Yotachumps 6mm chromo outputs. VERY slick.

Thanks Christan.. I'm still playing around with the shock set up, tires, batteries and so on. I'm curious to find out if anyones used those gears with the 10 turn colbalt motor and if they held up to the MONSTER tourqe.

the new ones are drilled/tapped for 40t Revo steel spur gears
you can get them without the Delrin gear
