My Custom Super Comp 15er-k2-5-s Wanted to get back into the super's sceen so what better then to build another 14-15er based TXT. I've been looking around for quite some time now for a chassis that I could use for the base of this build. So of course when I saw the all new super stunning K2-5 tummy tucked chassis:lol: I new it was the one I've been longing for. I want to thank Brett from REIGN for sending me one of his prototypes and for his understanding on the mods about to take place."thumbsup" So with that being said I'm stoked to get started. The body and chassis are what I have been working on until my parts start showing up. I modified the K2-5 to a modest 12" S model;-) in order to tuck tightly under the grapler body I have chosen to use. http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/7...1049ow7.th.jpg |

Got my axles and starting to figure out how I am going to link everything together. I decided to use 3/8" delrin for all my links and 3/16" for the front tie rod and steering arm. I will be using TLT suspention stays mounted on the back side of the axles for lower link and shock mounts. Next is tring to figure out how to make the rear a straight locked axle. http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/9...1079ap8.th.jpg http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/7...1080fr2.th.jpg http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/1...1081go6.th.jpg http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4...1082mj0.th.jpg |
