would shortening or lengthening the Cantilever links determine the ride height?

If they are on an angle (not parallel to the ground), yes. At least it seems to me as I stare at my truck. But I'll mention that I have relocated the lower links to the top of the axle, and that makes them parallel to the ground (uncut chassis). So (with the relocated links), I'd get more length, and no difference in height. |
