Looks good! I suspect though that it will look even better once all your parts arrive and get installed. Keep us posted on your progress.

looks good.
you should remove the axle bumpers and modify the body mounts so the body can sit lower.
you will probably find that the gd-600 with laith will be to slow. ;-)

if it'll be to slow for me then i'll just stick with the stock cans, i'm just looking for some real good torquey motor, got some other motors here that i'm trying out.
thanx for the input though :)

sean_lv_crawler 07-30-2005 11:54 AM

Good start kevin!

The commandos will look trick on it! DId you get hte orange ones or the grey? I'd say get a Mag Mayhem or any 20 turn motor, the lathe is just wayy too slow!

Keep us updated!

Finally got the "bling-bling" wheels  . So went to do some crawlin'.
These Moabs is like velcro, alot of biting grip. Seems way better than my other set of wheels(LST's)IMO

BENDER 09-22-2005 09:39 AM

Looks sweet, I think that's the first set of wheels with silver beadlocks that I've seen bolted up to a rig.

Looks good, I would suggest moving your electronics down inside the front of the frame to help lower the center of gravity and keep weight up front to help fight torque twist.

Thanks... Yeah I'm using thicker shock oil and stiffer springs and still torque twist,
I'm gonna move all my electronics towards the front. And see how it goes.
Thanks for the advice ;-)
