| Newbie With Pictures
I'm a NEWBIE...just wanna say thanks to all the guys for this site, it's helped me to build my truck. Here are a few pics of it . I've got some awesome video footage, but not sure how to post them yet. Any help would be appreciated These pics are not posers ________________ I'm thinking of naming my truck Rock Rash....if anyone else is using this name let me know, I don't wanna take it. |

Nice pictures! I like the tread patern you cut out in the tires, how do they work? That location looks real fun also. I have yet to crawl on smooth rocks like that.

The location is at Bucks Pocket State Park in NE Alabama. The tires are awesome! Those smooth rocks are a challenge and are limitless in this area. I also have another post with more pics in Get Together Forum.

This was the first run of the truck with the mods finished. There were new rods made to extend the wheelbase, the tires were cut, and lastly we added a g600 gear reduction with 9 tooth pinions in the transfer case and on the motor. We went with one mayhem motor instead of the stock 2 motors. We couldnt believe the diffrence that it made and how long the runtimes are now. Average runtime is upwards of 30 minutes. We were very impressed with the results of the upgrades.
