If they don't show up with your camera, I can take some with mine if I see you this weekend at the comp.

I think alot of guys could appreciate the bead locks you have especially if you have bolts in them now.

Yes you need some sort of bead locks or outer rings to hold the outer beads to the wheel because when you narrow the TXT wheels you cut each side of the rim off elimiating the outer rings that hold the tire bead on.

Jeepboy,

That method will not work for the LST's. The LST's inner diameter is larger then the txt tires, the LST's actually sit on top of the fins and require an outer bead that is larger in diameter.

Badger you've got email @ badgerracing.com

Oh and Jeep boy. the downside to cutting wheels like that is now there's a glued seem which is weaker(not that it's really an issue) but the main thing is I cut mine the other way and cut down the fins and I did NOT have glue my tires. They have never slipped not once.

you cut yours the other way? - which is that? - cut inbetween the outer and inner bead on each side? - if so how much does that narrow it?
enough I guess since your running them

See I cut the portion of the wheel that holds the TXT tire. The bead surface then gets cut into the fins seen here.

But this wheel was left alone to be used for a MAXX sized tire. My BFT's. The black rings are slightly larger in diameter to hold the large holed tires in place. Does that make sense?

I bought some maxx adapters but didn't really want to lose any width. so I just figured I'd make the TXT wheels work. I don't like they X-75's they look stupid to me. So I figured I'd make my own option. I think they turn out sweet. So I made Badger a set.

I need them because it makes the wheel a larger diameter. See TXT tires have a 2.6" diameter and maxx sized tires have a 3.2 diameter (I believe). So I need the tire to rest upon those fins to make up the difference.

Ryan are you using Clod wheels? if so, from what I've seen i don't think they work the same.

no i am running txt wheels but i made up my own design for shopping them.... i went with bft's anyway from wut dirk told me he said they work very well with no modification, and even better with so i went with them... on the way now, andother tire that is a better then the lst is the jumbo swamp dawg narrowed 1-2 inches and siped the larger lugs in half but thats allot of mod so i just went wit bfts.....

Ya I'm really happy with the BFT's Icut the crap out of the tread too. I think the best mod has got to be the side lugs.

Yeah, those BFT's with your sidewall lugs attached have an insane amount of side bite!
