Default TXT with LST tires on narrowed txt wheels

Finnally got my LST tires mounted to the newly narrowed TXT wheels. Thanks to rckjeep for making me some bead rings to hold on the LST tires.

I don't know how you guys deal with rubberized CA, I never want to deal with that shit again! It would not sqeeze out of the bottles, I had to cut the tops of the ca bottles off and spackle that shit on with a screw drive like jam on toast.

Anyway, I don't think I screwed them up too bad. They diffinitly don't look as nice as rckjeeps BFT's/TXT wheels.

Here are some action shots with them.

Man, that looks Great! The beadlock rings are cool, what kinda material are they made from? So how do you like the tires? Are you running full foams?

I wimped out and ordered Maxx wheels and adapters for my LST's.... wanted to keep the stock tires and wheels together for backyard playing, save the LST's for comps.

The rings are from plastic, RCKJEEP made them for me. If you want to buy them you will have to call his toll free # 976-rckjeep.

As far as I know everyone with these bead lock rings have made them, since they are completly custom.
Since I did not have the matterial or tools to make them I just went to http://www.pimpedoutcustomshitfromrc...icsfactory.com and he made me some.

Seriously, they kick ass and I would not have any idea how to make them. I got lucky since rckjeep offered to make them for me in trade.

The rings are plastic and I cut the foams in half down the middle of them.

These tires are awsome. They hook up very well.

Eepee, you are referring to the brace in the front window? Since I cut out the front and side windows the cab would colapse too easy, so I bolted that aluminum piece there to add strength. I like haveing the windows cut out for easier access to the electronics.

Terebileone, not sure yet. they suck! I just ripped them off of the rims with my hands so some of the bead was left on the rims. I don't think they are worth the money shipping them anywhere.

Cool, that's what I did to mine. I felt full foams would have been too much, plus I need room for my BB's to roll around.

Did you install a gear reduction? You were running 9 tooth pinions, right? I just put in a GD600 in anticipation of the bigger, grippier tires. 18 tooth on the motor and a 15T on the GD. Seems low enough but still has enough punch to get the tires spinning if I need to hop up something..... I am running a 19 turn double tho, so that helps.

John, looks great. That chalky residue will just rub off. I'm not sure what CA you used but I didn't have that much of an issue. Huh? Anyway they look awesome. Glad I could help.

Oh one more thing since you're a computer guy I need a pic downsized for my avatar. Can you help?

John, I noticed the passenger side A pillar at the roof is cut.
That's what I was refering to. Little slip of the knife?
Looks sweet nonetheless.

Nice.

I was wondering what a set of them would look like on my txt, but have yet to pick up a set of maxx adapters.

John, I ended up adding the bolts to the wheels looks Goooood.

The beadlock rings are a textured ABS.

Jasoninaugusta, John didn't use Maxx adapters or maxx wheels. Those are stock TXT wheels baby. All the tire choices and all the width.

Plus real beadlock looks. "glue's not that bad"

I guess I should stop posting when sleepy.

By "them" I meant LST tires. I was waiting to pick up a set of maxx adapters to put'm on the beadlocks I already have...with a set of lock rings for a lil' scale realism.
