Default TXT-1 Brushless Advice and Help

Hiya,

I'm pretty new to all all this so bare with me If I say something dumb lol. I am looking to upgrade my txt-1 to have Brushless motors but I cant seem to find a brushless esc that will run 2 motors. Will one brushless motor be as good as 2 brushed ? or would I need 2 ESC's and run 2 motors that way ?

Would I need to change batteries as well ? right now I run 2 7.2v NIMH batteries wired in parallel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The bigger Brushless motors were somewhat designed to take the place of two brushed motors. Some of the combos out there let you run 6 cells or 12 cells, some only allow 12 cells.

What do you plan to do with the truck, as that will guide you towards the type of set up you want.

As for two brushless motors on one ESC, I have not seen it.

I would suggest that 2 x esc & 2 x brushless motors would be too much. Here's some replies to the same inquiry:

Brushless TXT

A decent single brushless motor & esc will be more than enough, especially with the right lipo .
