Default Mounting Big Bore's to TXT-1

Hey guys

I tried doing a search on this and could'nt come up with much.

How do you mount your Traxxas Big Bore Shocks to your TXT-1?
I just bought 4 but they havent arrived yet, I'm not sure if they fit the pivot balls like the stock one's do or if I have to buy some mounting screws or what ever?

Part Numbers and Descriptions would be good.

Cheers, Dave

You will need the plastic stand offs that come with them for the cap part of the shock. I would also leave the bolt a little loose to accomodate pivot.

I use shock spacers for the cap part with M4 screws and nuts and for the bottom pivot ends I used 2 con washers with M4 screws and nuts. you can get them either at RC4wd.com or neweraracing.com.

well if you bought the 8pc set, you should have those. its the plastic spacer that you insert on the cap of the shock, then screw it on the chassis.

those screws you posted wont work, you need a 6mm tube.
