Relocated shocks on my TXT

thats not true, i mounted some savage shocks to my chassis, but then again my shocks are very raked back because my chassis is pretty hacked, but it does work well with the right set up

I tried every which way with the Savage shocks and TXT chasis and it just didn't work very well. I'm not saying it cant be done but I know from my experience that there are other ways that work way better.

yea for sure, but i had to use the savage shocks cause it was all i had besides tmaxx shocks, so i had to make it work

hey dirk, i was looking at your JR, and i noticed that you were using a limiting strap, i tried that, and i had horrible results, cause it just brings out the worst in the txt twist. and for me it made the ride a bit bouncy cause the shocks were being held down.. idk, just my thoughts...

I like the lower shocks mounts I made. I gained my articulation back from them because it sits the shock a little higher and more towards the middle of the axel. When I had them attached to the same bolt as the lower link, the right front and the left rear shocks were hitting the bent upper links limiting the articulation.

The shocks were too raked back with the new lower mounts causing the suspension to be too soft, so I relocated the upper shock mounts to the original place I had them. I think this is a good setup for now, we will see after our pratice session tomorrow.

I am staying with this configuration. I even tried a few other configs but went back to this setup.

Yeah I hear ya. I was skeptical at first to but once I did cut it I did not regret it at all. Also I have tried to cut as little as possible so I can revert back to my old setup. The performance gains are amazing!

I think the chassis rails are only $20. So it is not that expensive to replace them.

Looks like it is werkin good Badger. I love the shock mounts. I am curious to see how it does at the comp and keep up the good werk. Roid is one bad ass muther.
