Default need more run time

hello got a few q's for you guys. first i am running a txt with an evx stock motors and 9 tooth pinions i can only get 20-25 minutes run time with 2400 batteries. I am planning to keep the evx and do the one battery mod and run one motor will this help run time? also i have a p2k2 pro 27 turn stock motor is this enough for my truck or should i use my speed gem 17 turn single? last one will i have to run a seperate reciever pack to power my steering servos? oh yeah i only crawl with this truck but the run times suck compared to my buddies e-maxx. thanks and sorry for all the questions.

Devchev99,

I'm running one Mag Mayhem motor with gear reduction @ 149:1 overall

The truck weighs 9.5lbs has two servos and with a cheap Towerhobbies 1900 nicad it averages around 45 minutes of runtime.
