grease for axle gears

would it be a good idea to use wheel bearing grease for the gears in the axles to smooth things up.

Any type of cream style grease should work good. Don't use anything too sticky.

As posted,a cream style grease is fine.I try to stay with the Tamiya ceramic white grease.
