Default magnetic mayhem

i got my magnetic mayhem and i need a little help
i dont know how to install the Three Capacitors that i got with the motor

if someone can give me a little lesson on "how to install capacitors" and bring with it a few pictures please

I don't have any pics handy at the moment, but i will try to explain it. 1 end of one cap. will solder to one of the motor connectors and the other end will solder to the motor can itself. Do the same with another capacitor and the other motor connector, 1 to the conn. and 1 to the can. The 3rd cap. will solder between the 2 motor connectors. You will need to remove some of the can label and rough the surface up some. You will also want to tin the conn.'s and the spot on the can where the caps.s will attach.

Here is a pic of a motor with capacitors installed. It is similar to what you will be doing, but not exact.. On this motor the caps were soldered to a screw on the endbell. You will just attach them to the can instead.

You can also do the cleaner looking, triple triangle method. This method allows you to avoid soldering onto the motor can. Sorry, too difficult to explain and I don't have a pic. Maybe you'll see a set up like it on a buddies and you can copy it.
