Bigred, any reason why????? Seems to work fine exactly where it is!!! The motor and reduction clear everything, and they are mounted down low. Mounting the motor in the opposite location would do nothing more than raise the location, and therefore, raise the CoG. Again, why should I mount it differently? Thanx!

Damn... I did the same thing on Saturday but not because I wanted too... had to do it to get a TXT/Jugg tranny to fit into a Rockraider chassis.

It worked pretty good too.

Toyo, it looks good! How much run time do you have into this setup? Do you still like it? I honestly think that rotating the tranny and going single motor/reduction unit is the single best mod that I have made to the truck. The stability is awesome!

Well... for me, they worked for that one day. I wasn't happy with it but it worked. The rear angle was fine, the front had some issues and I wound up screwing up my front driveshaf a bit....it was worth it for a day of crawling.

About 3 battery packs and I've already stripped it down to start over.

My only issue is that with the Rockraider chassis I can't really get the TXT/Jugg tranny to fit very well... and running a reduction unit can't happen without some trimming, which I don't want to do yet.
