well i have finaly gone and done it and got my self a large scale crawler. i have been runing around a tlt which has got me into crawling. now i wantedd something bigger so i bought a jugg off one of my friends (known as blood+ now here). what i wanted to know was what is the typical wheelbase that you guys run and is there any other things i should know before i crawl this thing (not the obvious like locking diffs i know that )

People usually run about a 15-17 inch wheelbase..Any longer, and your rig would be too heavy..

well i have got my jugg and i have just started to mount the axels and this is what i have so far sorry about the poor quality i took them with my phone i'll try to find my cammer and get some good shots. any feed back would be good as this is my first crawler and this set up looks to work, but i would like the eye of a real crrawler to look at it and spot any proplems before i go any further. oh and yes that is a bit of wood. i am going to make that in metal once i am sure about the set-up. |
