Thing is ya gotta run Clod outer axle stubs. I need to make some that will work with the stock TXT axles shafts...

Trouble is I don't have a TXT axle to prototype with.

How long would it take you to prototype it? I would be willing to loan you an axel to have you make some of your adapters, I know they would be worth the down time.

Or I could ship out my entire TXT for you to test with if you wanted.

The reason I am offering is cause I want some TXT adapters.

Not to step on Badgers toes, but if you need a txt axle to use to get measurments, I have 2 laying around that won't be used for a while.

You can just pick them up on Jan. 1 when you come over.

Not cool Jason... now my toes are flat!

Thats even better, that way I don't have to send my TXT off for a while. I'd miss that little bugger!

Okay, I'll get Busted's or Jasons and see what I can do. Not having a TXT, what do you think the optimal wideing should be? Matt, you happy with the width now?

So, can you not use the same adapters for the Clod to Maxx with the TXT to Maxx?

I have a set of Clod to Maxx adapters, and was going to try them out when I get the new RPM rims in .

Ace, if you make some, let us know....I am sure you will, I would be interested in a set.

I like the stock width with narrowed rims. Most of us Nor-Cal guys run track width's between 14.5" and 15". I am sure they are all the same width if measuring rim to rim but we all use different tires. Mine is at 14 7/8" because I have LST's which are a tad wider then BFT's.

Badger, Your saying you just want adaptors, with minimal widening???

T-maxx rims (most anyway) have a lot of offset that tends to narrow.

I assume TXT's are like clods, and the wheel offset tends to widen?

Hmm, I'll have to get a TXT in hand with wheels.

Yeah, I think the TXT works well with the current width. I am sure a little extra won't hurt though.

Maybe some other guys interested can post there thoughts.

If they need the Female bolt axle extender then they'll probably be the same as my clod to txt widener/adaptors--$45 shipped.

If you don't need widening, just adaptors they might be cheaper cause then I wouldn't have to make the axle extender female bolt thingys. Probably $30 shipped.

Ace, I am very happy with the width. Haven't been on much. Been a lazy bum.

If you want them let me know I can get the to you over the weekend. I don't have my phone right now, since it is in pieces, was hopin the UPS man would have been good to me today, but he wasn't

I'll give ya call and see if you want them, actually you would get the whole truck. Feel free to put on any nice goodies you would like!

Other than those dang clod axles you love

The TXT and Clod are almost identical in measurements Ace. Use the same length adapters that you have been making for the Clods and that I have been running. That length keeps the width almost the same as a Clod with stock tires (15"), and the TXT is practically the same (15.16").

But Griz, don't forget the problems with the adapter bolts that I had. I needed to use a small spacer washer with your TTR bolts to make them work on a stock TXT.

Adapter width is great Ace. Just gotta figure out the bolt length.

If you get that dailed can I get a refund for those clod stubs I had to put on?
