| I can't believe the GD 600 is clocked, and the motor is STILL that high up there! How about turn the tranny on it's side. The good side, that'll lay it flat. |

You might try to lower it about an inch. Then use some high clearance lowers with a carrier bearing drive shafts? And it looks like you could lower the tranny about an inch, just how it is. Or lay it on its side like Eeepee said. |

| The TXT is getting totally rebuilt from the ground up. I got 'er stripped down, nothing left but a pair of axles. I doubt I use the stock tranny. Gears, maybe, but not the case. I'd like to try a AE or Losi tranny. EDIT: Just won a AE T3 Stealth transmission off Epay. ;) The Stealth is fairly durable. I only stripped one gear in all my years of racing Associated trucks and buggies with low turn modifieds. Not sure if I can fit the GD600 on it...... if not a planetary gear reduction will work. I'll post up more pictures when I decide which direction I'm going with the truck. The shafty with 'stick' clearance idea didn't work out. :-( Last edited by CSR; 11-10-2005 at 07:44 PM. |
