yup I moved it up about 1/2 an inch. it's the only way to get that inch of clearence. So you move it up 1/2" then cut off 1/2" inch. You cut off the lower gearcase bolt too. See the first pic.

I don't think the search button has killed anybody yet, but it still does not get used.

Goto my gallery and you will see my pics of all my modifications. Click on the picture 2 times (once on the thumbnail, and the once more on the picture to get a HUGE detailed pic).

No my links are not stock.

Big difference in mounting of mine and rckjeeps, my links are mounted to the same mounting point on the chassis. This supposedly help eliminate the TXT body roll from side to side.

I too like my battery mount, it was simple and did not cost anything.

You asked what is better? Of coarse mine is better!

So it begins I took my dremel with cut-off wheel and hacked first chassis plate, i have left about 1-2 mm of space from place i planned to cut so if i made error nothing bad happens. And about cutting the tranny did you cut only the mounting tabs or the screw mount on the bottom also? Ive thought to make like ive seen here, to make a skid with a slot that the bolt will go into, therefore mounting the tranny's lower end

Ok I just drove my truck in a spot that I went before the mods and what difference. I could climb stuff I never had a chance before. WOW! It's really amazing. Can't wait till I have some decent servos on again. The Futaba S3003 is struggling.
