|  New to RCCrawler
Hi everybody.. Just wanted to place my first of many posts here on the board.. My name is Todd, I live in Arizona at the moment and work at one of the local hobby shops here in the east valley. I've been in RC my intire life but have just started getting in to Crawling.. It looks like a lot of fun. I've just gotten my first truck (a TXT-1).. I'm loving it already. I went crawling north of here last weekend with a friend of mine and i'm hooked.. I'm already wanting to start modifying my truck so I'm sure you all will be seeing some postes from me about questions.. I promise I'll look though all the old posts first though.. We'll i'm outta here.. todd.. |

Welcome and I must say nice choice for your first crawler. and you must never forget your roots - by that I mean, you were born into crawling with a shafty and now you must defend that!  |

Thanks guys and you're right.. There's nothing like a straight axle shaft driven truck. I will defend these trucks till I die.. I live in the Tempe Area by the way. I've meet a few people at the hobbie shop already that climb around here already.. I've been talking to them about the things I want to do as far as mods go.. I'm already in the process of extending the wheel base out and trying to figure out who makes the best wheel wideners for the TXT-1.. If any of you guys know some good wideners I would like to know.. The only ones I've seen are the ones at rc4wd that extend out about 3/4 of an inch total.. I don't think that's good enough for me.. Well, I have to get to work.. I'm racing today.. ya cut the frame and tranny for more ground clearence.... narrow wheels new tires skid plate new servo mounts battery in front mag mayhems 9t pinions (reduction unit is nice but not needed witht he txt tranny) bbs in front tires if you think its needed ryan |
