Default Cutting the frames? what tool?

Hi guys, was just doing some mods to my txt tonight and wanted to cut the frame, i used a dremel with cut off wheel but it seemed to eat the wheels, i used 2 just to take the front sides off what do you guys use? my only other idea is to go and used my dads 9inch disc cutter with diamond blade on but it seems a little extreme.

alum will clog and destroy most cutting wheels pretty quick. if the material isn't too thick i use tin snips then smooth later with a dremel or a file. a 4 1/2" cutoff wheel on a hand grinder will make quick work of it though

Hacksaw, didn't even change the blade, just used what ever it came with. It'll cut through it pretty quick and if your not careful it'll drift off the cut line. Then just filed it smooth.
